First of all In the international wise we should start playing more friendlies; and i think bussinessmen should start taking over small clubs such as eagles , maziya viyansa and start reqruiting players from atolls and good foreigners.
And i believe we should start a league of 12 teams so that more players can play in top level football but for this to happen as i have mentioned before, big bussinesses like cyprea, villa, unversal enterprises should take over small
clubs and help them reqruit and develop young talented stars from atolls.

i think its the right time to make the cost of the tiket more then rf 5 i dont remember a time where the ticket cost in maldives normal football match was expensive then tat..may be expensive in some special mathces..but i am talking about the normal league and the FA cup n winners cup..

there r so many reasions..

1st thing is to improve football FAM need money..

2nd is e teams r not getting enough money...and there budget balance at the end of the seasion is =0

3rd is the playars transfer fees n there salary n all the expenses r out of hand..

4th thing is now its the right time to make the cup more expensive

5th is even the goverment has changed the salary 3 or four times over period of 6yrs...

6th is prize of all the raw materials n the stuffs is incresed

7th even the taxi drivers take 20

8th is we need to give more attention on small teams ,support them in money wise..(then only we can see islanders playing well..,knw there is no cope n no future for island team,best example is hurriya n guraidhoo

and so on..
even in 80s i guess it was rf 5 if i am nt mistaking,....

qeustion will arrise the who will go for rf 10 every day to watch maldives football...??

ofcourse it will need some times to get used..then agin after sometime i am sure we will see 5=10

its a good idea.and there are so many things fam can do with the stadium to earn money.i dunno wot the hell r they doin with all the money from the shops all around there.they say they do a lotta stuff ,but the problem is this,wot we see is a FA in debt.i think biggest problem is not money.they get loads of money.but the corrupt ppl in FAM eats it all and wot we get is shit.

But I agree that the high level managers and other guys in FAM eat all the money....and they are really corrupted.....This is a well known fact for all football loving fans....

i agree with u ! They earn lot of money also but problem is FAM has huge problem of corruption ! Government of Maldives or AFC or FIFA should reform the FAM and those corrupted people should be washed from their.

We need to change the format of taurnaments...
We can have Semi-professionla league:

6 team from first division.. champion and renner up from 2nd division... champion and runnerup from Zone 1-8....
Total 10 team...

Dhivehi league... 2roud as league basis...

After two round bttom 4 team will religate...

Introuduce league for 2nd division... that they can get more competetive games to play... It will make good team to comepete in first division... and more young players will introduce....

They almost started pro league... now their having new league cal i-league...
last year i-league ( 1st division) has 10 team.. this year (2008/2009) it will has 12 teams...

2nd division has 10 team... top 4 team from 2nd division will promote to 1st division... Bottom 2 team of 1st division will religate to 2nd division...
they are going to increase to 16 team within three years....
